Within the framework of the "Elements", between 5 and 7 December 2018, lectures and educational workshops on ecological topics were conducted. Classes were held at the Książ Castle and in the center of Wałbrzych at the Pod Atlantami Library, the Orzeł Biały State Primary School and the Porcelain Museum. Classes were addressed to almost 500 students from eight Wałbrzych schools (from kindergarten classes to the high school youth).
Artistic elements of the project are the starting point for discussions about the current problems of the world regarding broad issues of ecology, recycling, management of natural resources, the question of smog and air quality which we all breathe - in a word, conscious functioning of society in the natural environment, today and in the future.

Ecodesign workshops – Upcycling
On December 5, 2018, at the Pod Atlantami District and Municipal Public Library, the workshop called „Ecology and Design” was held which was prepared and led by Tytus Presiński – an artist and an ecodesigner. The theme of the meeting was the creation of everyday objects from waste (re-life of products and packaging). Due to the pre-Christmas period, the students built a Christmas tree with hubcaps.
Moreover, for the needs of the "Elements" concert, the artist built so-called "Black Suns." These unique, modern-looking lamps were made entirely from waste, i.e. the washing machine drums and chairs found in the dumpster. Thanks to the skill and vision, the artist gave the objects a second life, and the audience who gathered at the concert could experience the upcycling idea in practice.
